Air Canada responds to international travel demand with summer route expansion


Air Canada introduced new European routes and plans to resume choose routes to Japan this summer, in an effort to increase international providers.

The Montreal-based airline plans to resume flights from Vancouver to Tokyo Haneda and Vancouver to Osaka, beginning subsequent summer. It resumed flights to Tokyo Narita airport in April.

The announcement comes after Japan launched new border measures this fall, that permit all international nationals entry to Japan with proof of vaccination or a damaging PCR take a look at, easing two years of pandemic restrictions.

Air Canada additionally plans to increase European routes by including flights from Toronto to Brussels, Montreal to Toulouse and Montreal to Copenhagen, beginning June 1, 2023.
