Bookish Bono: U2 singer to promote memoir with 14-city tour

Bono’s subsequent tour might be with out U2 and and not using a new album to assist.


He will as an alternative be selling his memoir “Surrender: 40 Songs, One Story,” which comes out Nov. 1.


Live Nation and Penguin Random House introduced Monday that the 62-year-old famous person will go to 14 cities in November, beginning on the Beacon Theatre in Manhattan on Nov. 2 and ending Nov. 28 on the Teatro Coliseum in Madrid.


“I miss being on stage and the closeness of U2’s viewers,” Bono mentioned in an announcement launched Monday. “In these exhibits I’ve bought some tales to sing, and a few songs to tellΓǪ Plus I need to have some enjoyable presenting my ME-moir, Surrender, is absolutely extra of a WE-moir if I consider all of the individuals who helped me get from there to right here.”
