The plaintiff, who filed the lawsuit as “Jane Doe,” alleged that Watson pressured her into sexual exercise throughout an expert therapeutic massage session at a Houston lodge in late 2020. Watson was a participant for the Houston Texans on the time.

CNN reached out Thursday night to the Browns and Watson’s defence lawyer Rusty Hardin for remark.

On Friday, NFL spokesperson Brian McCarthy stated in a press release: “Watson’s standing stays unchanged. We will monitor developments within the newly-filed litigation; and any conduct that warrants additional investigation or potential extra sanctions could be addressed throughout the Personal Conduct Policy.”
