Roof collapse kills 9 members of family in northern Pakistan


PESHAWAR, Pakistan –

The roof of a hand-crafted of mud and wooden in northern Pakistan caved in early Sunday killing 9 family members, together with eight siblings, police stated.

Police officer (*9*) Khan stated the incident in the city of Chilas in the Gilgit Baltistan area claimed the lives of 4 daughters and 4 sons of a restaurant waiter and his spouse.

Khan stated the daddy was at work when it occurred.

Neighbors who heard the crashing sound of the home coming down rushed to the house however efforts to rescue the family have been unsuccessful.

Police stated the siblings killed have been ages 2 to 12.
