According to a survey by Time Out Group, three neighbourhoods inside Canada had been named among the “coolest” in the world by 20,000 city-dwellers and consultants.
The worldwide media firm, which focuses on the hospitality business, launched its newest annual Time Out Index on Tuesday, rating the best streets and neighbourhoods primarily based on perceptions of enjoyable, meals, tradition and neighborhood.
Out of the listing of 51 locations across the world, a neighbourhood in Montreal managed to make the highest 5.
Mile End is a part of the Plateau-Mont-Royal borough. According to Time Out Group, it features a skate park that’s the positioning of “digital block parties,” match with projection artwork.

At No. 12 on the listing is Toronto’s Dundas West neighbourhood, a bustling neighborhood with artwork galleries, artsy bars and low retailers. Between Trinity Bellwoods and iconic Queen West, the article describes the neighbourhood as the right place to seek out Portuguese bakeries.
“This stretch of Canada’s ‘city of neighbourhoods’ is a culture consumer’s paradise,” Time Out Group says.
In twenty fifth place is Vancouver’s West End neighbourhood, a downtown neighborhood south of Coal Harbour, filled with buying, nightlife and character.

The edgy mix of artwork and neoclassical mansions sided with warehouses containing the town’s music venues make the neighbourhood interesting to all travellers.
