Two 15-year-olds shot in Cole Harbour, N.S.

A 17-year-old boy has been arrested after two 15-year-olds have been shot in Cole Harbour, N.S., early Sunday morning, police say.


Halifax District RCMP and Emergency Health Services (EHS) responded to a taking pictures on Sedgemoor Court round 12:40 a.m.


Police say the taking pictures occurred throughout a celebration with 20 to 30 folks gathered exterior a house.


When officers and EHS arrived, they discovered two 15-year-old victims on the scene.


Police say one of many victims had an obvious gunshot wound to their arm. They have been handled on the scene for non-life-threatening accidents earlier than they have been taken to hospital by EHS.


According to an RCMP information launch, the second sufferer was shot in the leg and had minor accidents. They have been handled on the scene and launched.


Police say the suspect fled the scene earlier than they arrived.


The RCMP looked for the suspect with help from Halifax Regional Police (HRP) in addition to RCMP and HRP police canine.


The suspect was discovered and arrested in Dartmouth, N.S., simply after 2 a.m.


Police say the 17-year-old suspect is thought to the victims.


He stays in custody.


The RCMP says they aren’t releasing the intercourse of victims in order to guard their identities.
