The groups have been divided into two swimming pools for Phase 2. Each squad will play 4 matches towards opponents they did not face in the course of the preliminary stage, with the high 4 from each swimming pools transferring on to the quarter-finals.
Canada is competing in Pool F with the United States, Serbia, Turkey, Thailand, Poland, Germany and Dominican Republic.
Pool E options Italy, China, Belgium, Japan, Brazil, Puerto Rico, Argentina and the Netherlands.
The nineteenth version of the match is the primary to be co-hosted by two nations. Pool E matches will probably be held in Rotterdam, Netherlands.
